Yesterday was the infamous Friday the 13th!
I don't know about you guys but to me, I don't really like that particular day, and yesterday was no different.
When I reached the causeway (woodland checkpoint), I was greeted with an extremely long bus queue heading to Johor!! How long? Let's give it an estimated no less than 700 people in the queue?! Yes, I'm not kidding!!! Not at all!!!! The queue was so long that the line started to twist and turn because the platform just couldn't handle the vast number of commuters!!
I lined up for close to two hours before boarding the bus and headed back to JB!! I was terrible!!!
You maybe thinking why I chose not to walk across the causeway. The thing is, there is a ban implemented by the Malaysia & Singapore Authority on walking across the causeway because the new roads leading to the Malaysia CIQ does not cater to padestrians! So it's rather dangerous!!
The last time I tried to walk, I was stopped by the police and immigration officers at the JB old checkpoint complex. But that was the last week where they only give a warning. After that day, I'm not sure whether the Malaysia Police would fine you should they catch you walking across the causeway. So that's why I stayed in the pathetically long queue in Woodlands for closed to TWO HOURS!!
Luckily yesterday is now gone!!
