不知他是睡;
月长是个胀,
月半是个胖,
太师秦夫人,
怀抱大肚在花园逛,
不知她是胀,
不知她是胖。

Amelia Earhart

"I know what's coming,
I've already known what will come,
But you sure gave me a beautiful ride..."
- Amelia said (her voice broke)

*************************************************

At the ending of the movie, "Night at the museum: Battle of the Smithsonian", Amelia said to Larry the above statement.

It was an extremely touching statement.

If you watched the movie, you would know that because of the Egyptian Tablet, the wax figure of Amelia Earhart was brought to life in the night. She then followed Larry in his quest to save his fellow friends who was being held captive by Kahmunrah.

Throughout the journey, Amelia fell in love with Larry and so did Larry. But Larry knew that all was not real as Amelia was just a wax statue that came to life due to the mystical powers of the tablet and will in the end turn back into a statue again when the sun rises. He knew that their relationship will never work, hence he never committed to the relationship.

When Amelia first ask Larry whether he wanted to start the relationship, he almost told her that it was impossible because she was a wax statue. But he didn't say the words as he didn't want to hurt her heart.

At the end of the movie, Larry gathered all the courage he can to say the real reason why he rejected the relationship, but was stopped by Amelia by saying the statement above.

Obviously, she knew the relationship was impossible, she knew the truth that she will turn back into a statue. She understood that from the start, yet she still allowed herself to fall in love with him even though it will never be ever last.

How many of us can appreciate the process of doing something rather than possessing the end-product? Can you do it? Rather than possessing the person you love, just cherish the process when you love the person.
