Coming from a family full of Christians, I often hear people say "God plans everything for you". But does he?
I've never gave this much thought until yesterday when Ezra wrote on his FB "Thank God for the sufferings...."
So, does that mean God really plan everything including our suffering?
A close friend of mine, Grace, once told me "Don't blame God of anything negative, as it is not His doing"
So, does this two statement contradict each other?
Well, I don't think they contradict each other, they stand alone in their own way. I kind of like Ezra's statement, or actually, I mean I'm more inclined to believe in his statement, assuming it means "God plans for everything including negative stuffs".
Reason being, I sort of believe that even if things are so negative and overwhelming that sometimes you are blinded by it and stripped of your breath while handling it, it is just a way that God tests you or something relating to you.
For example, you quarreled with your girlfriend (touchwood). Sometimes I think it's God testing whether the relationship can go through tough times and recover and stand strong or even stronger.
You guys may say I'm crazy, yadda yadda and illogical. But frankly, many things has happened that I cant understand nor can I explain. When something goes bad, there always seem to have something good which pops out of it!!! And I'm not kidding. just like now, I've got quite some good things in return.
So, does God plan for everything? I don't really know. But I guess maybe... hehe...

Yup, I guess so, hmm.. suddenly makes me feel better! hahah
He is the one that makes everything happen. good, bad. All are His planning and there are always reason why He did that.
When you have difficult time, just remember, God know what happen. and all are on His planning for you.

i agree with you, that God is actually testing us..and also when we are in difficulties and we are so blinded..actually, its like the saying, when all doors are shut..there is a window left...

Nope He doesn't. I believe people can determine their own destiny. Personally don't believe in fate =) Nevertheless, I believe that struggles happen because we need to grow and there is always a way out.
