What!! No no no, that's not how the truth works.. Definitely not.
The truth is the truth no matter what others think.
The truth will always be the truth, though people may conceal it or distort something to cover it, but it is still the truth.
I'm really sorry for you, never thought that this kind of things can actually happen. But I guess this is what they call life. Sometimes life sucks.
It would not be a problem here in Australia though, this thing is nothing here, but I understand in Malaysia, such nonsense can ruin lives. It's really going to be hard for you. So sorry those people don't understand how you feel and the consequences just because of what they said, they should know better considering the fact that they are Malaysians, don't they know the mentality there?
It is wrong for the spread of this rumour, but.. hmm.. Ok let's be fair, they can think about it... suspect, but if they are your friends, they should verify with you straight in your face, if not, that's it, let it die off, not think about it or doubt you, not to discuss or whatever the word they want to use , "speculate" with anybody at all regardless of who those people are, their close friends or whoever. Because to discuss or to say it is already transferring the 'topic' to another person. They have no right to defame you in this way.
I'm just really sorry for you that you have to go through all this by yourself. Knowing that many people from that school are the ones you treat as nice friends, and now they are affected by this nonsense, it will be hard for you. I'm really sorry.
But look at the bright side, from this matter, you will see who is your real friends and who is not. But you really need to be prepared because you may just see a lot of people that you once trusted to go against you now or will go against you. Sounds discouraging, but I'm really sorry.
